Three More Weeks till the Doctor Arrives
Sunday, March 28th, 2010New Trailer for The Last Airbender
Sunday, March 28th, 2010I am pretty excited about this movie. Coming July 2nd, one of my favorite cartoons of recent years is being released as a live action film. So far it looks like they are staying fairly true to the show, here’s hopin!
The story follows the adventures of Aang, a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

Sony Squint-Eye’s Popeye Property
Wednesday, March 24th, 2010According to Variety, Sony has aquired the rights to the iconic character Popeye the Sailor! As a life long fan of Popeye, this is great news to me. Not only is Sony a good studio but they have embraced their comic properties quite well in the past…Spider-Man anyone?
Speaking of Spider-Man, its producer Avi Arad has been attached to produce the Popeye film also. And Mike Jones is in negotiations to write it.
Its been 30 years since he was last on the big screen, and while seeing Robin Williams as Popeye is a guilty pleasure of mine, this will be a 3D animated film rather than a live action one.
Humping Robot on its way to your pocket soon!
Wednesday, March 24th, 2010Fans of Robot Chicken out there know all about the Humping Robot. He has shown up on Seth Greens Carnival of Terrible Toys for quite awhile. Now, thanks to the great toy makers of SOTA (State of the Art) Toys you can get one of these horney buggers all for yourself.
To be released this fall, the Humping Robot will be just over 3 inches tall and have a keychain attachment. I am sure it will be a big hit, and I bet my partner Kevin will be buying two, one for each pocket!
