Quentin Tarantino is Brainy Smurf

Yeah…you read the headline right, of all the geeks in the world to cast as the voice of Brainy Smurf, why did it have to be Tarantino!? I am only guessing that he won a bet with the producer or something and wanted the job.
So far we have Jonathan Winters as Papa Smurf, Katy Perry as Smurfette and Neil Patrick Harris in an undisclosed role. This is really shaping up to be an all-star (if rather dysfunctional) cast.
Film to be released in 2011, surprised it’s not 2012 since that is when the world is supposed to end.

Kaylee and Simon Together Again

Well kinda… Jewel Staite and Sean Maher are appearing together on an episode of Warehouse 13 this summer. It will be good to see them together again since Serenity.
Simon Sean will be playing a man who finds one of those nasty artifacts and undergoes a physical change. And in a reversal of character types, Kaylee Jewel will play his unrequited love interest. Here is the full scoop from Syfy.
