For those of you who have been living under a rock, a sequel to one of my childhood favorite films will be released this December, Tron Legacy. The studio has decided to keep things viral right now when it comes to information about the film. There was a scavenger hunt going on last month that encompassed 25 cities here in the USA. Its good to see them doing more interactive marketing campaigns, it should spell for good ratings when the film is released.

This is yet another film being released in 3D, but from the trailer (especially in HD) I think it will make a great 3D experience. But the big news is that someone has ‘found’ the HD Tron Legacy trailer for the film and posted it. So follow the link and watch it before the site gets taken down!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Fringe has been picked up for a third season. This despite a tough time slot of Thursday nights and a low Nielsen rating. I can’t wait for the season to restart on April 1st!

Well not quite, but its been reported by the Source that J. Michael Straczynski is taking over the writing responsibilities of not only Superman but also Wonder Woman.

Starting in July with SUPERMAN #701 and WONDER WOMAN #601, superstar writer J. Michael Straczynski — a man who’s created layered and compelling characters and worlds on the big screen, on television and across the comic book spectrum — dives head-first into the DC Universe by taking the ongoing writing reins for two-thirds of the fabled DCU trinity.

We’ll have more details about who’ll be teaming with JMS on both titles — not to mention the exciting new directions he’ll be pointing our heroes toward — in the coming months. But today is about JMS and how he sees these great characters and what they stand for.
