It seems that ABC spilled the beans accidentally last night about the true origin of the Daleks. And it wasn’t even on an episode of Doctor Who, but rather the sitcom Better Off Ted!

Better Off Ted, for those foolish enough not to be following it (catch up on HULU), is a sitcom about corporate life at a super-duper sized mega corporation, Veridian Dynamics. Its a very funny show, for which a good part of the laughs come from the R&D departments creation of some of the weirdest gadgets. This weeks show had the two primary scientists down in the Verdian storeroom of discarded inventions, when in the back ground you can clearly a Gold Dalek! I guess it was just Davros powered down.

The good people at the BBC have graced us with a wonderful Advent(ure) Calendar for Christmas. Obviously not wanting to offend non-Christians they added the ‘ure’ to what is a standard Advent Calendar. Cool gifts are brought up each day till Christmas, check it out!

Doctor Who Advent Calendar

Yes, you did indeed read that correctly.  According to John Barrowman, as reported on Blogtor Who (pops) (great name for a blog, BTW), Torchwood is back for a 13 episode run! He says it will definitely be back, but he doesn’t know when. Sounds confusing, but he sounds confident. Keep your fingers crossed that we will see Torchwood in 2010!!
