Frank Frazetta, renowned Fantasy artist extraordinaire, has a large gallery/museum in East Stroudsburg, PA. On Thursday December 10th, state police arrested and charged Alfonso Frank Frazetta, with theft, burglary and trespass after they say he was caught loading 90 paintings worth $20 million into his trailer and SUV.

Alfonso is the estranged son of Frank. He, along with a partner, broke into the museum using a backhoe. I guess he didn’t realize there was an alarm since the police arrived shortly afterward. Upon questioning Alfonso, he stated that his father requested that he “enter the museum by any means necessary to move all the paintings to a storage facility.”

The police contacted Frank, who was wintering in Florida, and confirmed that he did not give his son permission to remove the paintings. Alfonso was arraigned and sent to the Monroe County jail. Bail was set at $500,000.

Why did he do it? Well Frank is 81 years old, so the easy consensus is that after their falling out Alfonso figured he wasn’t going to see any of his dad’s money after he passed away. And why not strike while the iron is hot, and Frank is outta town.

This guy is a douche, not only for trying to steal his fathers life’s work, but also because of how he went about it. He used a backhoe! No class, no imagination, just brute force. Heck, he obviously didn’t know or care about the burglary alarm either as he took his time loading up the vehicles. I hope this guy rots!

According to the Pocono Record, the men accompanying Alfonso were Frank Bush and Kevin Clement. Frank was operating the backhoe, for which charges are pending, and Kevin was a neighbor who was viewing the action. No charges are being filed on Kevin. Kevin Clement is well known in the convention circuit as the man who runs the Chiller Theatre Expo horror shows in New Jersey.

According to Alfonso’s wife, she and her husband had been the curators of the museum up until Franks wife Ellie died earlier this year. It was at this point that the infighting began over the paintings.

Perhaps if the shows writers were to kill off the annoying VPOV (viewer point of view, the fat guy) I might give it more business myself! Check the pic, he doesn’t even know his finger isn’t loaded!
