Jerry O’Connell to co-star in ‘Rex’

It’s been reported by The Hollywood Reporter that Jerry O’Connell is going to be taking over the co-starring role in the NBC pilot “Rex is Not Your Lawyer”. “Rex” is dramatic comedy starring David Tennant that tells the story of a Chicago lawyer who begins suffering panic attacks and so starts teaching his clients to defend themselves. Jerry O’Connell will play a lawyer friend of Rex’s.
I’m not sure how I feel about this. I liked Sliders, but that was almost 15 years ago! Then again, I’m not sure how I feel about the Doctor playing a Chicago lawyer either…
