Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel

On May 4th Del Ray Books will be releasing a graphic novel version of the popular Pride and Prejudice and Zombies novel. Combine this with the upcoming TV mini-series and you just know the undead are shivering in their half rotten boots!
The comic graphic novel is being adapted by Tony Lee (best known for his recent Dr Who comics) and drawn by Cliff Richards (love his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
Pride and Prejudice and Portman (oh, and Zombies)
Friday, December 11th, 2009According to a recent Variety article, Natalie Portman has signed on to produce and star in the upcoming Pride and Prejudice and Zombies movie. 
I recently wrote about the upcoming film adaptation for this fan loved book and really have high hopes that it will translate well onto the big screen. With Portman starring I do believe it will get the buzz it needs to successed.
From Variety, “Portman will play feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet, who is distracted from her quest to eradicate the zombie menace by the arrival of the arrogant Mr. Darcy.” In the book, Elizabeth is a zombie hunter with Shaolin training. It is a good book if you get the chance to read it.
Natalie will be producing the film under her Handsomecharlie production company with Lionsgate distributing.
